After a first professional experience in a firm of judicial representatives, Sébastien joined, as a lawyer, the business law firm of Rambaud Martel, then the international law firm of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe.
In 2007, Sébastien founded the law firm of Overeed with the objective of offering businesses, public and private institutions, a first-rate legal assistance both in Paris and in the Overseas Departments (Martinique, Guadeloupe and Guyana).
Under its leadership and as a continuation of an international expansion strategy, the law firm of Overeed opened a new office (permanent representation) in Lisbon in 2017.
Sébastien is particularly active in the areas of restructuring, prevention and treatment of business difficulties.
He also leads, with Pierre-Louis Hérin, the Corporate / Mergers & Acquisitions Department and with Gaëlle de Thoré, the Litigation / Contracts Department and the Restructuring Department.

Gilles Especel focuses on the main areas of business public law, local public law (public contracts, public domain, economic interventions, environment and urban planning) and the law called “regulatory” (regulated activities and professions).
Gilles also assists pharmacists in their projects of grouping or transfer, in the structuring of their activities as well as in the administrative or ordinal process (declarations, discipline).
He has a thorough knowledge of the legal and institutional overseas specificities – he worked several years in Nouméa (New Caledonia).
Gilles has developed his practice in the sectors of the industry, specialized distribution, health, property promotion and public services.
Before founding Overeed, Gilles practiced law at the international firm of Salans & Associés (Dentons).
He has a specialization certificate in public law and he is a lecturer in public contract law (IPAG Paris II Panthéon-Sorbonne).
He leads the Public Law Department.

Nelly defends and advises French and international companies facing social law issues. She is particularly involved in training executives and human resources managers.
Before joining Overeed and the Labor Law and Social Security Department, which she leads with Gaëlle de Thoré, Nelly worked in a law firm based in Lyon, where she worked in the areas of employment law and commercial law for companies ranging from SMEs to international-level groups with a wide variety of activities (banking, transport, medico-social, construction and public works, etc.).
Nelly focuses more particularly on the following areas:
- Labor law and social security litigation,
- Individual and collective labor relationships,
- Accidents at work and occupational diseases.

Pierre-Louis focuses on corporate law, mergers & acquisitions and business law.
Before joining Overeed, Pierre-Louis worked in law firms specializing in corporate law and mergers & acquisitions, including the international law firm of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe.
Pierre-Louis, along with Sébastien de Thoré, leads the Corporate / Mergers & Acquisitions Department and assists in particular corporate executives in the implementation of disposals and acquisitions, restructurings and fundraising operations as well as in general corporate matters. He also works for the Restructuring Department.
Pierre-Louis works indistinctly in French and English.

Léa focuses on corporate law and business law. She is particularly specializing in the areas of restructuring, prevention and treatment of business difficulties, both in an amicable settlement context and in a litigation context.
Before joining Overeed, Léa worked in different international law firms, including White & Case. In these law firms, she handled in particular important restructuring files to assist both debtors and creditors.

Public Law Department
Sana focuses on business public law, in particular on public contracts and urban planning.
Before joining Overeed in 2019, Sana acquired an operational expertise as buyer in the public procurement department of an important territorial community.
An experience in an administrative court gave Sana a perfect knowledge of the litigation, particularly in urban planning (litigation on the urban planning documents, the development permits and the building permits).
Sana, along with Gilles Especel, leads the Public Law Department.
